There are golf resorts and there are golf destinations. With two phenomenal courses by Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson on property, Ginn's Hammock Beach Resort is the latter. Nicklaus' 18-hole Ocean Course provides one of the most exciting golf experiences in Florida. Some argue The Conservatory by Watson is even tougher, but needless to say, equally enjoyable to play. Open since December 2000, the Ginn Hammock Beach Resort's Ocean Course by Jack Nicklaus is set amidst dunes and natural landscape and features more ocean play than any other course on the state's east coast. Six holes overlook the ocean, including the incredible 468-yard, par-4 finishing hole. Birdie here (and sometimes par) will always win you a skin! Lakes, dunes, forested terrain, and five different tee options add to the challenge. Hammock Beach - Conservatory ~ 2.69 miles (Not Driving Distance)
The Conservatory Golf Course at Ginn Hammock Beach, a Tom Watson Signature design, offers 140 acres of dramatic elevations and undulating greens not commonly found in Florida. In fact, the Conservatory has the highest slope rating in Florida! With six tee boxes per hole, the Conservatory promises an exciting challenge for all levels of play, and when played from the back tees there is no longer course in the state.
